Terms and Conditions

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all workshops and events organized by Blades & Beers (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking a workshop or event, you (“the participant”, “you”) agree to these terms.

2. Bookings & Payment
  1. A booking is only confirmed once you have received a confirmation email from us.
  2. Payment must be made in advance by bank transfer, unless otherwise agreed.
  3. Prices are listed per participant and may vary depending on the chosen workshop.
  4. Discount codes are only valid if issued directly by us.
3. Cancellations & Changes
  1. You may cancel your booking up to 7 days before the workshop for a full refund.
  2. Cancellations made between 7 and 3 days before the workshop will be refunded at 50%.
  3. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the workshop are non-refundable.
  4. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. instructor illness, low participation). In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
4. Participation & Safety
  1. All participants must be at least 18 years of age to join the Blades and Beers workshops or at least 10 years of age for the Swordfighting workshop.
  2. Our workshops involve physical activity (swordplay/fencing drills). You are responsible for assessing your own health and fitness before participating.
  3. You must follow the instructor’s safety instructions at all times.
  4. We reserve the right to refuse participation if a participant behaves in a way that endangers themselves or others (e.g. intoxication, disruptive behavior).
5. Alcohol Policy
  1. Beer and/or mead tastings are part of certain workshops. Consumption is limited to the tasting quantities provided.
  2. You must not consume alcohol before or during the physical activity portion of the workshop.
  3. We may refuse to serve alcohol if you appear intoxicated.
6. Liability
  1. Participation in our workshops is at your own risk.
  2. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the event, except where caused by our proven negligence.
  3. You are responsible for your personal belongings.
7. Photography & Media
  1. Photos and videos may be taken during workshops for promotional purposes.
  2. If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please inform us in advance.
8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Belgian law.
